More than 20% of the population suffers from disorders such as Anxiety and Depression. So how do you know if you suffer from anxiety or depression? It’s fine to feel a little down sometimes. Everyone gets that gloomy feeling on a Monday morning so it’s really nothing to worry about.
What’s more, feeling down does not make you a sufferer of an anxiety and depression disorder. At times we may have a low couple of days and even weeks. Your car gets stolen, you break up from a long relationship; these are all possible causes. These problems can seem overwhelming at times and create emotions such as sadness and hopelessness.

Suffering from anxiety or depression is nothing to be ashamed about. Many people however believe that such psychological disorders affect only a small proportion of the population. As a result, many sufferers go on suffering without seeking any help or treatment.
The truth is, anxiety and depression affects absolutely millions of people of various ages. So what is the solution? There is much a sufferer can do on their own as well as seeking treatment. Diet and physical health can play major factors in improving mental health.
When we experience anxiety and depression our states change and we feel a wave of negative sensations and emotions. Making changes to help boost mental and physical health can help change these states. Being in a positive state is good for us, and the longer we spend in them the more positive changes that can be made.
We all feel at times that our emotions control us. And it’s true sometimes it’s hard to not give in to the way we feel but it’s not impossible. Imagine yourself depressed and anxious. Your emotions build up inside you and you feel that you’re going to breakdown. But imagine doing something silly at that very moment, say you were to scream out the window “I love bananas!”
You see how you would feel different, if only for a second. This just proves that you have the power to change your emotions. Making long term changes takes time, but there are powerful techniques that you can apply to your daily routine to help you take control of you emotions.
With the right guidance anyone can beat anxiety and depression. By applying advanced techniques that influence the mind and body you can overcome anxiety and depression and start living life again.
